Ever have one of those days when a song just keeps running through your head? That almost annoying tune that if you don’t burst out singing in the office or while preparing dinner you feel like you’ll just… burst? Well, if the song is by Elton John, it’s anything but annoying! And if you (or me… this is all completely hypothetical, of course ) happen to start singing … and dancing … to it, who knows? Maybe you’ll start the next flash mob sensation! Just take a look at what the lovely city of Galveston did. To take a line from their uplifting video, “Life isn’t about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain.”
Have you ever wondered what fairies dream about? What do they think as they gaze at the world of humans around them? Do they wonder if Mother Earth will survive? Do they hope that mankind will stop abusing her? Watching all of history repeat itself and dreaming of better days. Maybe this fairy, sitting on a hill and watching the sun go down is hoping that the dawn will bring a sign of a better world.
After yesterday’s post about Peace on Earth, I just had to share one other design that popped up while searching “Peace on Earth”. It’s special to me because it’s by one of my favorite artists – I even have one of her prints hanging on my wall. You should check out all the other wonderful artwork by DudaDaze!
“Let there be peace on earth… and let it begin with me.” The sentiment brings to mind John Lennon’s Happy Xmas (War Is Over). Peace on Earth begins when all the wars end. Peace on Earth begins with me. There’s a Christmas Peace I can “imagine”!
