Pick of the Week: February 13 – 19
And here it is – the day that can bring both happiness and sadness, depending on what your relationship status is and how you’re feeling about it. This day is certainly special to a lot of those happily “taken” or married, so even this week’s pick is going to be special – our own design for Valentine’s Day called Kitten Valentine, for all those who were made for loving each other.
HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY to those who celebrate it, and good nerves to those who don’t.
This week’s pick makes me think of the 80′s. Bright colors, slightly crazy, a lot of fun. Whips, taming… Well, you get the idea. And because the 80′s brought a lot of good music, too, let’s rock to:
Just because… *cracks whip* …it’s fun to tame someone’s heart.
Pick of the Week: January 30 – February 05
This Love Birds design proves that beautiful art can be found anywhere. Even something as small as a magnet on your fridge can be a tiny artistic jewel that you can be proud of. So if you’re still hesitating what to get for your “love bird”, what about buying this amazing magnet, booking a table in that restaurant your girlfriend keeps raving about and leaving her a note “Dinner in your favorite restaurant” under the magnet? Or do you have even better plans for the person you want to spend your lifetime with?
Pick of the Week: January 23 – 29
Let’s admit it. Valentine’s Day can be quite a stressful holiday for people who are alone. Wherever you go, there are hearts and other love symbols attacking you, and sometimes, when you don’t have your significant other yet, it just gets too much. Depending on your ways of coping with unpleasant situations, you want to either curl up, shout, cry, drink yourself under the table or shred all those annoying hearts into tiny little pieces, salt and burn those irritating shreds and bury them really deep in the ground… In a nutshell, the holiday might not be “hearts and fuzzies” for everyone and if you can’t cuddle with your partner, try to find at least a cuddly pet, pillow or anything else cuddly enough that will help you get through that day.
What? No cuddly pet or pillow anywhere near you? So what about a necklace with this beautiful angel lady? Wouldn’t it make you feel as if you were in the arms of your very own angel?
Pick of the Week: January 16 – 22
Valentine’s Day is less than a month away so this week’s pick brings you Kitten Valentine. We think it has enough “cute”, the perfect balance between “sweet” and “artistic”, and the right amount of Valentine spirit.
In case you wonder why the title, watch this short video (although it’s not a song this time). May your bed never be cold, both on Valentine’s Day and throughout the whole year.
Pick of the Week: January 09 – 15
I’m a guardian, I’ve seen it all / Empires that rise, kingdoms which fall / A lot of pain, too much despair / But also love, things which are fair / Colors of life in all their shades / I know all goes, everything fades / But here I am, I will not leave / In the future I still believe…

Pick of the Week: January 02 – 08
We’ve decided to change our Pick of the Day to Pick of the Week as our schedules have gotten more busy recently. So from now on, we want to regularly feature only one design a week, with the possibility of random Picks of the Day whenever we find more designs worth posting throughout one week. You can keep submitting your designs of course.
This week’s design is this amazing vintage roses notepad. Who says that you have to write your ideas down on a plain slip of paper? The brilliance of your thoughts will definitely stand out even more when you record them on paper with a beautiful design. Be it amazing plans for your business or thoughtful lyrics like Poison’s:
Don’t be afraid to make bold plans for 2012!
Today’s design reminded me of how we all sometimes feel trapped in the greys of our everyday lives and how we’re desperately looking for some colors when such rough times come. You can be sure that this calming Celtic-inspired design will bring beautiful colors back into your life whenever you need it, and return you “to the tranquil blues of old”.
When I saw this amazing Celtic necklace, I knew it would become one of my PotD’s this week. Celtic or Celtic-inspired art has always felt special to me, somehow magical and mysterious. And what could be better than a beautiful Celtic knot design? Probably the design accompanied by Celtic-inspired music. So sit back and let yourself travel into a Mystic’s Dream where magic and beauty of Celtic world await you.
We all need a little breather with Mr (or Mrs?) Christmas almost knocking at our door so this week will be a Necklace Week.
Our PotD for Monday is this little blue-eyed couple, a fairy and her dragon girl. I’m pretty sure the dragon is a girl because she uses the same hair dye as her human counterpart. I must say both of them are very photogenic and the dragon lady is definitely good at striking a pose. I guess the girl really knows how to train her dragon.
