I Won’t Let Go

This Vintage Peacock & Etchings design is a perfect pick for all the love birds who want to send out their wedding invitations in classy and elegant envelopes. After all, if you feel like taking the plunge, why not do it in style? ;-)

And remember, there are bound to be rainy days but you should just grit your teeth and say: “I won’t let go.” :-)

Halloween Traditions Around the World

Want to make some Halloween fun this year? How about dressing up your little one in this “Boo! Scared you!” kitty outfit and dancing along with La Santa Cecilia’s La Negra? After all, when the black invites you to dance, you can’t say no. And who could say no to this adorable black kitty? What a fun way to bring traditions from around the world together with the Celtic-influenced Halloween (see our Halloween Unmasked post) and Mexico’s Día de los Muertos.

Bed of Roses

Imagine a lazy Sunday morning. You’re still in bed, reading your favorite book, watching your favorite movie or listening to your favorite music. Yeah, or doing another favorite activity of yours;-) Either way, you’re bound to get hungry and thirsty eventually and there’s nothing better than sipping your favorite drink out of a mug with your favorite design.

Whatever Lola Wants

It’s Sexy Saturday, which means this 3D design is a perfect fit. A sexy lady like this always gets whatever she wants, just like Lola in Sarah Vaughan’s song. So don’t say No. You know you want to buy it. ;-)

Halloween Unmasked

Are you trying to find the right bag for trick-or-treating? What about this one with a colorful and fun design called Ferald and The Rotten Pumpkins? (Sounds almost like a garage band, don’t you think? :D )

Carved pumpkins, trick-or-treating or costumes probably come to mind when you think about Halloween. But how much do you really know about this holiday’s history and origin? If you want to find out how many cultural, religious and even occult traditions have shaped Halloween until it got the present form, watch this short National Geographic video. Yes, that’s right, no music today.

Spooky Scary Skeletons

I have a confession to make. When I showed Dean the song to go with this design, he just looked at me and said, “You scare me sometimes.” (That’s a good thing at Halloween, right?) But really, who can resist dancing along with these Spooky, Scary Skeletons! Come on now! You know you want to dance along! And have a cup of coffee in this great Skull Confetti mug to get your energy going! Let’s all dance with the skeletons!

Monarch Sunflower

Here in Grapevine, we get pretty lucky. Every year in October the elegant Monarch butterflies migrate through on their way to Mexico, filling our skies with painted wings. The Monarch’s migration can fill even adult hearts with wonder. How each generation knows to start the journey. Their beauty and their determination make them a favorite from New York, where this beautiful photo was taken, to Texas, to Mexico and around the world.  And who knows?

You might wake up some morning
to the sound of something moving past your window in the wind.
And if you’re quick enough to rise,
you’ll catch the fleeting glimpse
of someone’s fading shadow.
Out on the new horizon
you may see the floating motion of a distant pair of wings.
And if the sleep has left your ears
you might hear footsteps running through an open meadow…
Don’t be concerned.
It will not harm you.
It’s only me pursuing something I’m not sure of …

What dreams do the Monarchs inspire you to pursue?

Flower Power

Whether you’re going to San Francisco or Wall Street, this brightly psychedelic flowered iPhone case will show off your counter culture spirit. Would you like to support “Main Street”? What better way to show your support than buying directly from the artist who created this fun and funky design!

Flowers We Are

This colorful intricate design deserves a very special piece of music – calm, peaceful, relaxing and just as delicate as the tulips. I present you this composition by Yiruma so that both your eyes and ears rest a little and enjoy the beauty that art brings us, be it a poster or a song.  ;-)

Turn the Page

This binder looks like a perfect gift for all the travelers, explorers, voyagers, globetrotters and wanderers in your life. It’ll surely help them keep all the travel memories fresh to share them with you on that special day when they come back. So take a sip of your favorite drink and start leafing through all the amazing adventures while listening to this fantastic cover of Bob Seger’s song by Metallica.

Here I am, on the road again / There I am, up on the stage / There I go, playin’ star again / There I go, turn the page…
