Bed of Roses

Imagine a lazy Sunday morning. You’re still in bed, reading your favorite book, watching your favorite movie or listening to your favorite music. Yeah, or doing another favorite activity of yours;-) Either way, you’re bound to get hungry and thirsty eventually and there’s nothing better than sipping your favorite drink out of a mug with your favorite design.

Whatever Lola Wants

It’s Sexy Saturday, which means this 3D design is a perfect fit. A sexy lady like this always gets whatever she wants, just like Lola in Sarah Vaughan’s song. So don’t say No. You know you want to buy it. ;-)

Halloween Unmasked

Are you trying to find the right bag for trick-or-treating? What about this one with a colorful and fun design called Ferald and The Rotten Pumpkins? (Sounds almost like a garage band, don’t you think? :D )

Carved pumpkins, trick-or-treating or costumes probably come to mind when you think about Halloween. But how much do you really know about this holiday’s history and origin? If you want to find out how many cultural, religious and even occult traditions have shaped Halloween until it got the present form, watch this short National Geographic video. Yes, that’s right, no music today.

Flowers We Are

This colorful intricate design deserves a very special piece of music – calm, peaceful, relaxing and just as delicate as the tulips. I present you this composition by Yiruma so that both your eyes and ears rest a little and enjoy the beauty that art brings us, be it a poster or a song.  ;-)

Turn the Page

This binder looks like a perfect gift for all the travelers, explorers, voyagers, globetrotters and wanderers in your life. It’ll surely help them keep all the travel memories fresh to share them with you on that special day when they come back. So take a sip of your favorite drink and start leafing through all the amazing adventures while listening to this fantastic cover of Bob Seger’s song by Metallica.

Here I am, on the road again / There I am, up on the stage / There I go, playin’ star again / There I go, turn the page…

Some Like It Hot

I know Dean’s been doing most of the posts here, but I just couldn’t resist this hot little Habanero design! I love cooking and I love cooking with peppers! The hotter the better and you can’t get hotter than this great photograph of colorful red, green and yellow habanero peppers at a farmer’s market in New Mexico.

Want to feel the heat? Try this great recipe from Cooking Enthusiast! And don’t think I forgot the music. Who can resist dancing along in the kitchen with Robert Palmer’s Some Like it Hot?

Antonio’s Spring

This vintage poster made me think of Antonio and Italy.

I hear you asking: “Who’s Antonio?” Antonio Lucio Vivaldi of course. Italian composer.  His Le quattro stagioni: La primavera or The Four Seasons: Spring is an amazing piece of music and it goes perfectly with today’s design. Flowers, birds… Immaculate spring atmosphere, don’t you think?

Through the Fire and Flames

What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you see the word “dragon”? Powerful, mythical, fantasy, supernatural, legendary? Something completely different?

I think this song by Dragonforce. I think “crazy”. Have a look at the picture. I see a story there. The dragon surely doesn’t look like a friendly pet that could be tamed or defeated easily. Everything seems to be on its side, everything seems to play to its advantage – its size, its power, the fear that it raises. Facing and fighting such a creature does seem crazy and hopeless. And yet there’s always someone who is trying. Someone we consider crazy at first but brave in the end. The line between “crazy” and “brave” surely is damn thin at times. But that’s also the place where heroes are born. ;-)

Pretty Woman

Roy Orbison’s Pretty Woman was the first song that came to my mind when I was looking at this design.

Both the song and the artwork have that “retro” quality that’s hard to find these days. They bring you the feeling of “good ol’ times” when music and art were true, genuine, fun and damn good. Let’s all vote for pretty girls, great music and designs. ;-)

Ravenlord

Can you feel the autumn wind blowing? Ravenlord is coming to stay. Can you hear the passing bell tolling? Ravenlord takes you far away…

Great song by Hammerfall fits this fall design perfectly imo. And I’m sure it’s creepy enough even for all the Halloween lovers out there. Btw, after you buy this, try to put it on and see if Samhain likes it enough to leave you alone. *grins*
